Privacy policy body for UFA Receipt Checker.
This policy explains how UFA Receipt Checker and its website handle receipt information. The app runs on iOS and Android. On-device checking sends nothing off the device. Online checking sends extracted receipt text to the checking service. The website reads files in the browser, sends extracted receipt text for checking, and does not retain receipt text on its Worker.
UFA Receipt Checker reads receipt photos and PDFs, checks seven receipt requirements and conditional policy rules, shows findings, supports corrections, and exports marked PDFs. The app has no account, ads, or purchases.
The current receipt pack remains in local app memory while the app is open. The last result, settings, and downloaded model state remain in local app storage until removed.
The website keeps receipt files, page images, and extracted data in the browser during the session. Marked PDFs downloaded from the website remain on your device. The website does not use cookies, analytics, or local storage.
Receipt information is used to read the receipt, check seven requirements and conditional policy rules, show findings, support corrections, and create a marked PDF. Online checks use extracted receipt text to answer receipt questions. The original receipt files and page images are not sent by the app or website.
On-device checking shares receipt information with nobody. When online checking is selected, UFA Receipt Checker sends extracted receipt text to its checking Worker, which sends it to the configured checking provider. Production uses OpenAI through Cloudflare AI Gateway. The website sends extracted receipt text to its Worker and then to OpenAI in production.
The Worker does not retain receipt text in its database, logs, cache, or object storage. Production gateway request logging is disabled.
The app keeps the current receipt pack locally while the app is open. Its last result, settings, and downloaded model state remain in local app storage until that local data is removed. When online checking is used, the checking provider holds extracted receipt text for thirty minutes.
The website keeps receipt files, page images, and extracted data in the browser during the session. The Worker does not retain receipt text. In production, OpenAI holds extracted receipt text for thirty minutes for prompt caching.
In UFA Receipt Checker on iOS and Android, tap Check another receipt to clear the current receipt pack. To remove a downloaded model, open Settings and use Delete in the model section. To remove the saved result, settings, model state, and other local app data, clear UFA Receipt Checker's app data in the device's app settings. Online receipt text expires after thirty minutes. UFA Receipt Checker has no account and no account-deletion request path.
On the website, use Start over or close the browser page to remove the browser-held receipt session. Receipt text held by the checking provider expires after thirty minutes. There is no account or server-side deletion request path.
UFA Receipt Checker and its website are independent of Utah Fits All, UFA, Odyssey, and the Utah State Board of Education.
